Andrea Morano Quercia

Andrea Morano Quercia rejoins colleagues at Ernstrom and Dreste after a career spent in a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in private practice, government and corporate environments, most recently as the Vice-President and General Counsel of a $2B aerospace and defense division of a publicly traded company.

Leading a team of 80 professionals, Ms. Quercia was responsible for commercial and government contracts, litigation, environment health and safety, trade compliance and security. She has particular expertise in labor and employment matters, and in ethics and compliance investigations.

Her background encompasses a wide range of litigation experience, including international commercial litigation, post-acquisition and post-divestiture disputes, construction contracts, qui tam and whistleblower defense.

Her government background includes extensive work on FAR and DFAR contracts, and TINA and FCPA compliance, setting up firewalls and organizational conflicts of interest plans.

In private practice, Ms. Quercia’s focus was on construction and surety work, and environmental matters including Superfund and remediation disputes.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Economics summa cum laude from Saint Bonaventure University, and her Juris Doctorate cum laude from Albany Law School.  She is a graduate of the Executive Business Leadership Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
